February 28, 2025 - The Financial Market Commission (CMF) invites academics, researchers, professionals, and students to present their works and participate in its annual conference titled "100 Years of Banking Supervision: A Look at the Past, Present, and Future of Financial Intermediation."
The Conference will take place on June 26 and 27, 2025 at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEN, for its Spanish acronym) of the University of Chile. It will commemorate a century of banking supervision and regulation in Chile, inviting reflection on achievements and future challenges.
June 26 will focus on presentation and discussion of research papers, offering a space for broad debate on issues relevant to the development and stability of the financial system. The next day will feature presentations and panel discussions with authorities, academics, and national and international experts to analyze achievements and pending challenges in financial supervision and regulation in Chile.
The Commission invites interested parties to submit their scientific articles, whether finished or in progress, for consideration by sending them to convocatoria_cmf at cmfchile dot cl no later than May 2, 2025. Submitted documents must be in PDF format and include an abstract.
Submitting papers is free of charge, and they will undergo both peer reviews and a selection by the organizing committee. Additionally, neither the CMF nor the FEN can commit any kind of financial support to selected researchers. Selected works shall be forwarded to a commentator selected by the organization, who will provide their feedback in a corresponding session.
