October 11, 2024 - The Financial Market Commission (CMF) reports that it has approved the merger of HDI Seguros S.A. and Liberty Compañía de Seguros Generales S.A. after verifying compliance with current rules and regulations. The Commission also approved Liberty's bylaws reform, through which the company is renamed HDI Seguros S.A. and will act as legal successor of the merged entity.

The acquisition of Liberty Compañía de Seguros Generales S.A. by Inversiones HDI Limitada was settled through the accreditation of change of controller on November 15, 2023.
