April 8, 2024 - The Financial Market Commission (CMF) published for consultation today a proposal to amend Circular Letter No. 1,815 on submission of information regarding pension life annuity policies as stated on Decree Law No. 3,500 of 1980. It aims to compile structured, periodical information of the number of pensions paid by means of payment and accrual date through the Commission's Online Information Submission System (SEIL). In addition, the regulation incorporates pension payment dates for each insurance company.

The regulation intends to automate submissions and receptions of said information and generate databases that can be updated quickly and efficiently.

The amendment will be under public consultation until May 2, 2024.
