February 7, 2024 - The Board of the Financial Market Commission (CMF) expresses its condolences on the sensible passing of former President of Chile Sebastián Piñera Echenique.
During his second administration, the former President decidedly supported the Commission's new institutionality, and was also responsible for appointing the first Chairman of the Board for the integrated CMF.
The Board expresses its condolences to his family and close friends.
