The Financial Market Commission (CMF) reports that Commissioner Beltrán de Ramón, in his capacity as main prosecutor of the internal investigation carried out at the Commission, notified Chairwoman Solange Berstein about the suspension of Corporate Affairs Advisor Marcela Gómez Aguirre. Commissioner de Ramón will forward the corresponding background information to the Public Prosecutor's Office to supplement the filing of charges submitted in previous days.

Nevertheless, Chairwoman Berstein exercised her attributions and requested Gómez resign from her post, effective today, due to loss of trust. The internal investigation started mid-November by Commissioner de Ramón is still in progress.
