The Financial Market Commission (CMF) published for consultation today a regulation and its corresponding technical sheet on instructions regarding the submission of information about securities intermediaries' own portfolio instruments, and which repeals Circular Letter No. 1,720 of 2004.
These amendments apply to stockbrokers and securities agents and intend to modernize current information requirements used for statistical and prudential supervisory purposes, adapting them to new processes and optimizing the regulatory burden for supervised entities.
Interested parties can access the Draft Rules and Norms section of the CMF website until October 16, 2023 to check the regulatory proposal in detail and submit their feedback.
