April 27, 2023 - The Financial Market Commission (CMF) published today on its website the 2023-24 Regulatory Plan approved by its Board. The Plan details the regulatory projects the CMF will work on in Prudential and Market Conduct matters to improve current financial market regulation; advance in recommendations made by international organizations; and materialize requirements derived from recent legal amendments.

The Regulatory Plan includes regulatory projects to implement the new Fintech Act and the move towards an Open Finance System; the establishment of a standard method for calculating provisions for banks' consumer portfolios; regulations on outsourcing and contingency plans for insurance companies; mutual fund liquidity regulations; regulations on the policy of customary conduct and disclosure of transactions with related parties; and risk management conduct standards for financial service providers, among other initiatives.
