The CMF updates the platform with data as of June 2025 and includes improvements in the costs and profitability modules. A mobile version is also available through the Microsoft Power BI app on iOS and Android.
August 27, 2025 - The Financial Market Commission (CMF) updated its Mutual Funds Portal with information as of June 2025, strengthening its delivery of accessible, transparent data on the industry.
These improvements include:
- A new section on digital series (i.e., those marketed and that receive contributions exclusively via remote/digital means) added to the Costs module. Generally, these fund series have lower costs than their traditional counterparts (as much as 1.6 percent lower for some families), and they now appear as a differentiated segment in the Portal to allow cost comparison with traditional series.
- The Profitability module incorporates additional data:
- Historic profitability for the past 10 years for series of shares with available data for said timeframe, providing a long-term outlook.
- A more disaggregated fund classification that allows more precise comparisons of series performance according to investor type and the corresponding fund category.
- Usability and graphic improvements provide simpler user experience for anyone consulting the platform.
- A mobile version of the Mutual Funds Portal is available through the Microsoft Power BI App, which can be downloaded from Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iOS).
The Mutual Funds Portal comprises four modules: Costs, Profitability, Portfolios, and Market Trends. It is a key tool to make informed investment decisions considering investors' risk profiles and objectives.
Currently, the mutual funds industry in Chile manages total assets close to USD 80 billion and has over 3 million participants, consolidating itself as a key source of savings in the economy.
As of today, the CMF will continue with quarterly updates to the Portal in line with its objective of providing clear, accessible information to investors.
