August 5, 2025 - The Financial Market Commission (CMF) makes available to citizens a new set of statistical information for the banking sector and payment card issuers. The data is available on the Temporary Series Statistical Database (BEST, for its Spanish acronym) platform through the menu located on the left side of the screen.

For example, it is now possible to review liquidity and solvency indices of the banking system, as well as data on banking leasing operations. The new data also features activity, risk, and performance figures for payment card issuers disaggregated by entity.

The Commission invites interested parties to check all data available on the BEST platform. This tutorial video is also available to help you learn how to use BEST with examples of data searches, graph reviews, and table downloads.
