June 13, 2025 - The Financial Market Commission (CMF) reports that it filed a complaint before the Public Prosecutor's Office against any responsible parties for fraud and using the name of CMF Chairwoman Solange Berstein to scam potential investors.

The Commission identified an entity named Harnett Logan Megan (HLM), which operated through Instagram and WhatsApp and recommended buying certain local shares. HLM used a photograph of Chairwoman Berstein for such purposes. Said post contains elements of fraud and deception to mislead people into buying these alleged local shares through HLM, which pretends to be an entity linked to Chairwoman Berstein, and by extension to the CMF itself, which is false.

The content of that post also implies that Chairwoman Berstein recommended buying those local shares, which is absolutely false, and part of the scheme designed to scam investors.
